Media Unit - Liverpool
Before we started the family were forced to watch a small TV and make do with limited storage space

The original design was to create a built in unit with matching cupboards either side of a radiator cover, this design was changed on site during the project when it was realised additional storage space was needed. Luckily one of the many benefits of hand making furniture like this is that you can truly make something bespoke and it wasn't too late to amend the design

Wiring was added and fed through the frame to allow downlighting in the alcoves.

Once all the wires were fed and the framing capped we coudl begin the job of sanding and filling to give a perfect smooth finish once painted

Traditional style shaker doors were made using a tennon jointing system

All exposed edges were given multiple coats of filler before being sanded and sealed with an acrylic based sealer to prevent moisture trapping and a 'fluffy' finish

Two coats of primer and three coats of eggshell paint later this family had a bespoke unit with ample storage and a focal point for the new TV
Media Unit - Liverpool

This family in Liverpool had spent years staring at a TV floating on the wall and no storage. We were initially commissioned to build a media unit that would bring life to the wall and provide both storage and a focal point for a brand new TV.

The original design was a symmetrical unit that would include a cover to hide the radiator, cupboards either side and shelving. Once we began building though it was clear that more storage was needed so we opted to extend one side and increase the space.

The homeowners had a beautiful home and it was clear that an Ikea flatpack wouldn't suffice so we set tow work on designing a traditional styled unit with shaker doors to match the rest of the furniture, but that would also include modern downlighting. To make this piece feel in keeping with the aesthetic of the home the decision was made to include high quality oak to add depth and character to the media wall.

Garden with outdoor kitchen - Warrington

This garden transformation was designed for a couple who wanted to turn their outdoor space into something both beautiful and functional.

The brief was to create an inviting area for entertaining, balanced with low-maintenance planting zones to add greenery and structure. We built a series of raised flower beds and planters using chunky reclaimed railway sleepers, giving the space a rustic yet timeless feel. The layout was carefully considered to frame the garden and create natural flow between zones.

At the heart of the project is a purpose-built outdoor kitchen—complete with a bespoke counter area, storage, and a traditional-style pizza oven. Thoughtfully positioned, it provides the perfect hub for relaxed summer evenings and weekend gatherings.

The materials and finishes were chosen to blend with the natural surroundings while standing up to the British weather, ensuring the space looks good year-round. Careful attention was given to levels, drainage, and functionality, so everything not only looks great but works exactly as it should.

A garden reimagined for modern living—practical, sociable, and full of character.

Garage Conversion - Warrington

This garage conversion in South Warrington was designed with both present-day needs and future planning in mind. The homeowners wanted a dedicated home office space—but also had the foresight to future-proof the layout, ensuring it could later be used as a ground floor bedroom with an en-suite if needed.

We began by fully insulating and converting the garage into a warm, comfortable living space. The front of the garage was transformed into a bright office area, complete with a bespoke built-in desk and custom cabinetry for storage. These pieces were carefully designed not just for day-to-day working comfort, but to be easily repurposed as part of a bedroom layout later on.

To make the space completely self-contained, we added a stylish en-suite shower room with a compact toilet and basin, tucked neatly to one side without compromising on usability. High-quality finishes were chosen throughout to keep the space feeling clean, modern, and easy to maintain.

Outside, we removed the old oil-stained tarmac driveway and replaced it with beautiful block paving, laid in a pattern that complemented the property’s style. The new driveway not only dramatically improved the home’s kerb appeal but also increased its overall value—offering both visual impact and long-term practicality.

This project is a great example of how garage conversions can do much more than provide a bit of extra space. With thoughtful design, quality materials, and a focus on future needs, this once-underused garage is now a stylish, versatile room that adapts with the homeowners' lifestyle—while also enhancing the exterior of the property for years to come.
